Disney to launch HD channel
by David Allen

Disney is to launch the HD version of their top of the range film channel Cinemagic during December.
This channel will be initially on Sky+ HD, but will only be available to SKY customers with a movie channel and also an HD subscription.
Throughout the first month and into the New Year, Sky subscribers can expect to see some of the producer’s best works such as, Tinkerbell, Sleeping Beauty, The Incredibles and Ratatouille.
The addition of such a high profile channel being made available in HD just adds to the growth that Sky is seeing since they launched the Sky+ HD back in May 2006.
There are now twenty nine channels which show more than ten thousand hours of HD content to half a million households.
