Tiscali to offer free set top box
by David Allen

New customers wanting to sign up for the Tiscali TV and broadband service will be able to do so in the High Street at stores owned by DSCi.
Not only that, they will be able to walk out of the store with a brand new Tiscali+ digital recorder set top box for free.
Tiscali+ offers the buyer the ability to pause and record live TV, and record two channels at once while watching a third channel, as the standard package expected.
The package offered by Tiscali offers access to over eighty channels, free catch up for the past seven days for BBC, C4 and FX programmes, plus access to the on demand service, which currently has around fifteen hundred films to choose from.
The deal is available at Currys and Dixons until the end of December.
The Tiscali TV and Broadband package includes free line rental, and calls will cost £15.99 for the first month and £19.99 per month thereafter.
