The service is compatible with well known instant messaging communities and social networks, such as Skype, Yahoo! Messenger, Facebook, MySpace, AIM, Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk, ICQ, and Jabber.

It is the first complete messaging product available with landscape mode chat, buddy calling and regional social network support for the iPhone.

The applications also provides a Personal Message function which allows users to send status updates to contacts in real time, and see who is online and where they are. Users can also send emoticons.
