Despite their size the Post Office has not made many inroads into the broadband market.
This is for many reasons, but are they about to make a comeback and take the market by surprise?
In an approach that is going to prove to be different, if not anything else, they are about to become the techno speak destroyers, by producing what the Post Office calls a glossary of techno chat; something that older people apparently do not understand.
The Post Office have introduced a new band of prices which start at £15.61 for the standard broadband, rising to £24.42 for the home phone and broadband extra.
Clearly, this advertising is aimed at the older generation, which the Post Office feels needs assistance in knowing their text talk from other means of communication.
They say that this tool has been designed to help out those people who are confused about the internet.
