Mac usage up in December
by David Allen

Is it a sign of the times that Apple’s share of internet users is increasing?
Recently released figures from Net Applications clearly show that the Apple is gaining net market share, with figures for December showing Apple with over ten per cent of web users.
Of course this is not just for the computer sector, and clearly the huge sales of the iPhone have helped with this growth, although it represents less than half a per cent of the total browsing figures.
That still leaves over nine and half per cent for the Mac operating system, which is up on the month before and considerably up on the same time in the previous year.
This is a record-breaking time for Apple - the question is will it last?
