Virgin Media puts Samuel L Jackson upfront
by David Allen

The first TV adverts for the super fast broadband service being offered by Virgin Media are being aired.
The company has not taken any chances with this campaign, because after using the voice of Hollywood superstar, Samuel L Jackson, in the optic fibre adverts, this time they have the man himself starring in the adverts.
The basic storyline for the advert is that, during 2009, customers of Virgin Media will be able to get involved in the internet revolution known as superfast broadband, which promises the user speeds of up to 50 Mbps.
Virgin Media are hoping to provide this service to around twelve million households by the summer.
This is going to cost £51 per month, but by bundling the service with landline phone services and cable TV, the price can be brought down.
