The man behind Apple, Steve Jobs, may not be at the MacWorld show, but he sure will be there in spirit, with some major changes coming into effect for users of the company’s products and services.
There are major changes coming to the iTunes music store, as they are about to strip digital rights management (DRM) from music, introduce pricing differences and provide much tighter integration of the iPhone.
For as long as iTunes has been going, the price of music has been fixed with full DRM.
However, this is all about to change with the DRM being dropped.
For the customer this is going to mean different price bands and higher quality downloads.
