Windows 7 to get beta test
by David Allen

According to Steve Ballmer, the CEO of Microsoft, Windows 7 is the best operating system they have ever developed, and as from Friday all computer users will get the opportunity to test it out, as Windows 7 beta 1 will become available.
The file can be downloaded from the Microsoft website, although it is 2.7 Gb in size so it would be a good idea to pick out a quiet time to download it.
This version has all of the features shown at the Professional Developer Conference a couple of months ago.
One of these is HomeGroup, which is meant to make it easy for users to share files within their home network.
The beta 1 version will also include touch based interface, which gives the user finger tip control of their computer.
