More start-ups encouraged by broadband
by David Allen

The growth of faster broadband connections throughout the country is offering the opportunity for many people to start up their businesses from home, according to research produced by BT Business.
Because the broadband network has improved in many areas with faster and more reliable connections, working from home is now a real possibility for many people, no matter what line of work they are in.
Research found that sixty per cent of UK businesses start as home based enterprises – an option that offers lower overheads and the chance for a better standard of living.
Technology is the key to people working from home.
Without a fast, reliable and cost effective method of connecting to the broadband network, for some people it would be impossible to achieve.
