MySpace on the TV

by David Allen

Users of the social networking site, MySpace, will soon be able to view the site’s content on their TVs, thanks to a new widget being brought out by the social networking site.

The MySpace widget, developed with Intel and Yahoo, will allow users to exchange their messages, post comments, publish their personal status, get instant updates and view images posted by their friends while watching TV.

There is no need for users to login to the site and as the device has a built in, on-screen keyboard, no computer is needed to check out what is going on in the world of MySpace.

This is yet another on screen widget which has been designed to bring these social networking sites to the TV through an interactive bar at the bottom of the screen.
