Don’t tell anyone, but we at MobileWire have been let into a secret.
Nokia’s latest flagship smartphone, the N97, now has a UK release date. It’s 31st March.
Although Nokia has yet to reveal an official release date, Play.com has put the handset up for reservation at £479.99.
Which means it’s not much of a secret anymore, and a plethora of rumours are sweeping through cyberspace.
So what’s all the excitement about?
As powerful as a desktop PC, the N97 features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, QWERTY keyboard, and personalised home screen.
Connectivity includes Quad-band GSM, GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Internal GPS provides navigation, whilst creative types will delight in the 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash.
Its 32GB onboard memory can be expanded to 48GB using the included 16GB microSD card.
The cheeky chaps at Nokia have decided to feed the flames of speculation by neither confirming nor denying the rumour.
