More Plusnet customers to test 24 Mbps

When internet service provider Plusnet first announced that it was going to be trialling its latest high speed broadband service, offering connection speeds of up to 24 Mbps, a limited amount of customers were invited to try the service.

But now that part of the trial has finished, the ISP is opening up the trials to other customers who would like to see what 24 Mbps has to offer.

There is a slight sting in the tail of this offer though, as anyone interested in taking up the offer will need to have an ADSL2+ capable modem in order to access the service.

Some customers may already have one, but for those who do not Plusnet will be only too pleased to provide one at a cost of £29.99 plus £6.99 postage, or for free if the customer signs a twelve month contract.
