The talk is currently all about the Digital Britain report, but one major group appears to have been left out of the plan and that is the British public.
Consumers have been left out of the consulting process, and yet the public is a great source of information, and as they are the end user it is important to find out what they want.
In most cases, a connection speed of 50 Mbps would not be needed, especially for people in areas only receiving 0.5 Mbps at the moment.
The chairperson of the Broadband Stakeholder Group, Kip Meek, has stated that there has been very little discussion with the consumer, who could also help out with regulating content, according to the Open Rights Group.
