Wembley development to get fibre broadband

While there are some people with no connection to the broadband network, there are those who are already enjoying the world of next gen broadband with connection speeds of up to 100 Mbps.

Currently, according to the Ofcom advisor the Communications Consumer Panel, there are around forty different projects around the UK that are preparing to offer super fast broadband service.

Projects to put broadband into new housing developments are becoming more popular, like the one that is being built by Quiltain Estates near the Wembley Sports Stadium.

There are going to be twelve thousand apartments, all with access to an up to 100 Mbps fibre-to-the-home broadband service.

But users are not connected to the super-fast service all of the time, instead they have the option to boost their service at a cost of £1 per half hour of use.

At other times they choose a package of up to 32 Mbps.
