Silicon Mountain Announces Lower Cost Allio HDTV-PC
by Janet Harris

As promised back in November, Silicon Mountain Holdings, Inc has released Allio Lite, a lower cost version of its popular Allio HDTV with an integrated PC and DVD player.
Despite the lower price bracket, the Allio Lite models still provide clear, high-quality 42” 1080p and 32” 720p displays, and the same inputs and outputs as the standard Allio models.
The 42-inch Allio Lite model, with dual-core Intel Atom 330, Windows Vista Home Premium, a 250GB hard drive, 2GB of RAM and a DVD-CD player/writer, is priced at $1599, while the 32-inch version is a more modest $1299.
The sets are available at alliotv.com, or from resellers, including Amazon, TigerDirect and Visionman.
