The creator of the Conficker internet worm now has a price on his/her head.
The software giant Microsoft has put up $250,000 for anyone who can provide information that leads to the person who created this menace.
However, it is not the first time that Microsoft has done this.
The company put up $500,000 for anyone whose information could be used to convict the creators of the Blaster and Sobig worms, and actually paid out $250,000!
The problem for Microsoft is that the real purpose of the Conficker worm is not known.
It could be building a massive network of computers or something else could be going on.
With Microsoft getting into a panic over it, maybe it should be taken more seriously.
