Avenir to distribute Beewi WiFi and Bluetooth

Business-to-business telecoms provider, Avenir Telecom, is partnering up with accessory developer, Beewi, to bring innovative smartphone accessories to the UK market.

France-based Beewi is “an exciting new company with several ‘world’s-first’ products,” said Avenir managing director Andy Tow.

Beewi products to be distributed by Avenir include a credit card sized Bluetooth handsfree speaker – the smallest and lightest ever produced – and the world’s smallest WiFi USB adaptor, running on the high performance 802.11n standard.

Avenir will exclusively distribute Beewi products in the UK to network operators, retailers, and B2B mobile dealers.

Beewi founder Thierry Dechatre said: “The proliferation of mobile phones, portable multimedia players and mini PCs creates a need for wireless communication between them, to facilitate users’ day- to-day lives.”

He added that Beewi’s expertise in wireless technology means it can make Bluetooth and WiFi solutions more accessible than ever before.
