French Film channel to launch on Sky

Fans of French films will be able to view Cinemoi on Sky channel 839, free of charge, every evening until the 6th April, after which the channel will become a subscription based channel.

Cinemoi has been created by the live venue and entertainment company The Mint Group, in association with the 3DD Group which produces the Album Chart Show, and the film producer Ed Pressman.

The channel has access to classic French films like Bridget Bardot’s Le Mepris, Vincent Cassel’s La Haine and Francois Truffaut’s 400 Blows, and will have interviews with actors, including Catherine Deneuve (Belle de Jour) and Isabelle Huppert (The Piano Teacher).

This is good opportunity for viewers who were once accustomed to watching this type film, perhaps as part of their studies, until this type of film faded away never to be seen again, until now.

Cinemoi launched yesterday evening.
