When the computer maker Gateway disappeared from the market seven years ago, most people must have thought that was the last they were going to see of them.
However Acer, which bought the brand, has other ideas, with the Gateway brand being re-launched in the UK, with three new laptops including a 12.1 inch and two 15.4 inch models, and three desktop models, due to be released by the end of March.
As expected, these new computers will have a familiar Acer look and feel about them, especially the laptops as they will have the curved style keyboard.
The Gateway brand will not be available through retail outlets, but instead will be sold through resellers and other channels associated with the type of product.
