There is talk that Microsoft is looking to bundle Windows 7 with mobile broadband.
In fact there are other rumours that they may even go all of the way and put this new operating system in direct competition with XP on mini laptops.
The company has confirmed that it is having talks with certain mobile broadband providers and telecoms companies, on how this product could be bundled with mini laptops to offer a full service for the customer.
It was the Carphone Warehouse that was highlighted by Microsoft as the business they would like to follow, by offering bundles of phones, laptops, PC’s and services such as phone and broadband.
Although, being Microsoft, they are bound to do things a bit differently.
