by David Allen

The first digital TV channel that offers content related to health and fitness is to be launched on the BSkyB satellite platform later on in the year.
Media Fitness Ltd has put together a package of content to be known as Fitness TV.
It has a target of attracting around 600,000 viewers by the end of the first year of being on the air.
Fitness TV will go live sometime during June. No firm date has been announced just yet.
Media Fitness Ltd has big plans for Fitness TV, with launches following in Europe and the Middle East, as they plan to create a global brand and following for the channel.
There will be a website launched in April to compliment the planned launch of the channel in June.
