BBC3 in trouble over stripper
by David Allen

The production team behind a documentary about the sex industry has been censured by the regulator Ofcom, for failing to tell a contributor that the programme was focussing on the sex industry.
These findings are most peculiar considering that the programmes title was “Amy: My Body for Bucks”, but events promoter and former Top of the Pops presenter Clement Dortie feels that his career, business and reputation has been tarnished because of this oversight by the BBC production team.
The whole thing centres around single mother Amy Hall, a lap dancer who was employed by Dortie at party held after the Brit Awards.
Ofcom found that the BBC had not given Dortie enough details about the programme for him to make a proper informed judgement on whether he should give his consent.
However, Ofcom rejected Dortie’s claim that his comments had been edited out.
