US mobile browsing overtakes UK

It was only a matter of time before the US caught up with and overtook the UK in mobile web browsing.

With the amount of users in the states it was a foregone conclusion that this would happen and according to recent research by Bango, the US leads the market now.

Mobile web browsing in the US now accounts for twenty nine per cent of the worldwide traffic, while the UK has a little bit over twenty per cent.

Both the UK and the US are well ahead of other nations.

This could be to do with the successful launch of the iPhone from Apple and other Smartphones which has helped mobile broadband technology take a strong grip on the UK and US markets.
