BuddyMob has revealed that it will be launching an iPhone and a Symbian version of its Android application, and has announced a number of performance upgrades based on customer feedback.
An iPhone and iTouch version of the app will be launched in June, whilst a Symbian version is set for release ‘later this year’.
Updates to the Android-based social networking application include making easier to change your user profile, and better support for Facebook, Yahoo, GTalk and AIM.
Already downloaded by 50,000 people around the world, BuddyMob allows users to run various social networking services simultaneously from a single log-in.
BuddyMob spokesperson Christophe Hocquet said: “Our research has shown that around 60% of consumers are members of more than one social network.
“The service that BuddyMob provides, integrating all social network feeds and creating a new way to be constantly connected to friends, meets this trend head on.”
Services supported by BuddyMob include Twitter, MSN, GTalk and AIM.
BuddyMob enables users to post messages and photos, live chat with friends, and get friends’ locations using a GoogleMaps mashup.
