Home Secretary subscribes to Virgin Media
by David Allen

As recent news can testify, the Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith is a customer of Virgin Media, which is interesting because it is not that often that the public get to know what celebrities and politicians actually watch.
However, thanks to a dodgy expense claim, the Home Secretary’s Virgin Media bill is available for scrutiny.
It turns out that customers of Virgin Media can subscribe to the Playboy Channel, the Adult Channel and Television X for just £11 per month, but some features can be purchased for £5 each.
On the Home Secretary’s £67 bill there were two £5 X Rated purchases as well as pay-to-view services.
She watched Oceans Thirteen twice at £3.75 and Surfs Up once at £3.50.
The thing that makes it worse is that the bill was claimed as a valid MP expense.
