Cellcrypt launches PBX IAB for secure calls
by David Masters
Voice telecoms security provider, Cellcrypt, yesterday launched the Cellcrypt PBX IAB.
The PBX IAB provides supports secure communications for VoIP, landline-to-landline, and landline-to mobile calls.
Using the PBX IAB, it is possible to establish a totally private, secure fixed and mobile telephone network, connecting any number of mobile devices and fixed line phones around the world.
All that is needed to install PBX IAB is a fixed or mobile internet connection.
The PBX IAB adds to Cellcrypt’s line up of voice security products, including Cellcrypt Mobile and Cellcrypt PBX Gateway.
Cellcrypt Mobile provides secure, encrypted mobile-to-mobile and mobile-to-landline conversations while offering high levels of voice quality, low latency, and international coverage.
Cellcrypt Mobile works on Nokia smartphones and Windows Mobile devices, and encrypts conversations over GPRS, EDGE, 3G, EV-DO, and WiFi.
Cellcrypt PBX Gateway provides secure calls from landline-to-landline, and landline-to-mobile.
Simon Bransfield-Garth, Cellcrypt CEO, said: “Traditional voice security solutions have almost exclusively run over old Circuit Switched Data (CSD) networks which provide poor call quality and frequently fail across international boundaries.
“At Cellcrypt, we provide easy-to-use solutions based on VoIP and commercially available mobile phones and desk phones.
“While Cellcrypt PBX IAB is particularly targeted at military, blue-light and crisis management applications, it is ideal for any organisation that needs to set up a secure voice network in the field such as oil and mineral exploration companies.”
