MPs have been under fire recently over their expenses, but one politician has found that his website has been hacked and defaced.
Paul Clark, the MP for Gillingham and Rainham is the victim of a hacker who goes by the name “Red Virus”.
The hacker broke into the labourisworking.com site and left some rather rude and offensive text behind, claiming to be from Egypt.
However, the hacker also left behind an email address!
This was registered to a Chinese domain, which seems to be a strange thing considering that the hacker claims to be from Egypt.
This is isn’t the first time that the junior transport minister has been a victim of IT troubles – his blog updates were frozen due to a virus in the parliamentary computer network.
