The telecom and broadband arm of the Carphone Warehouse has announced another way for its customers to save to money and at the same time stay in touch with family and friends.
TalkTalk is planning to become the first provider to offer customers free local calls at anytime during the day, evening or at weekends.
This is the second time that the Carphone Warehouse has gone all out to offer customers free services.
The last time was when it offered free broadband.
This was so successful that the company could not cope with the initial surge of applications.
Currently TalkTalk has around 2.7 million broadband customers.
The company believes that seventy per cent of all calls dialled are local, so it is clear that the customer would make savings.
