BT gets the nod from Munich Re

The UK based telco BT, has been chosen by one of the world’s largest providers of re-insurance services to provide broadband network services for the company.

This is a continuation of a deal that is still currently in operation, with BT providing the insurance giant Munich Re with a wide range of corporate wide network services.

The main contract for BT is to provide networking for the company’s sixty plus sites that spans across thirty three countries, using MPLS data networking technology.

This is a good deal for BT as the contract last for around forty two months and is clearly going to be worth several million pounds.

It will give BT a long term piece of added security in these troubled times.
