Conficker suddenly slithers into life

The saga of the conficker or downanup worm continues.

First it was believed that the 1st April was going to see it launch into attack mode, then it was claimed that this was happening, and now it seems that confiker is back and this time it means business.

The program began to stir on the 8th April and since then the update system has been delivering encrypted software to those machines that have been compromised.

It is not known exactly what the update was about but it should be enough to get computer users thinking about what their computer is doing.

Where this is going nobody can be sure, even the world top internet security experts.

All they can is watch and wait, but that is not really going to help all of those users whose machines are infected.
