The internet service provider, Easynet Connect, is launching a new service that has been designed with the small and medium sized business in mind.
Currently the ISP is working on unbundling around twelve hundred exchanges.
This will then enable it to offer a fixed price fibre broadband service to an estimated seventy per cent of all UK businesses.
Easynet Connect which is part of the BSkyB group of companies, will begin the work on just fifty exchanges, and expects this work to be completed by the end of the year.
As far as prices go, the company says that it expects the final cost to be around half that of any other Ethernet product, although it is yet to provide an exact price list for this new service.
