Setanta gets PC

April 16, 2009

The satellite sports provider Setanta has installed an IPTV service throughout its new offices, the idea being that its staff will be able to constantly monitor the channel’s broadcasts at any time of the day and anywhere in the building.

The installation has been provided by Exterity and it means that Setanta can broadcast both live and recorded programming to wall mounted TVs and even desktops through the IP network.

Setanta has recently moved offices from the West End of London to a new base in Chiswick.

The IPTV system was installed prior to the firm moving in, enabling the systems integrator KlickTV to install the equipment needed to provide the service.

Setanta is currently looking to refinance its debts and renegotiate the terms and conditions of some of its contracts with sporting organisations.
