Vopium launches iPhone app
by Jan Harris
Following the recent launch of its VoIP service in the UK, Vopium has announced the launch of an iPhone application.
The new application will allow iPhone users to benefit from significant savings on international calls over Wi-Fi, as well as being able to send text messages (SMS) abroad for just GBP 0.09.
International calls via Vopium are up to 90% cheaper than traditional international mobile and land-line calls, and some are totally free of charge.
Consumers and businesses that download and register the application from Apple’s App StoreSM, will receive 30 minutes of free calls and 30 text messages (SMS).
Vopium integrates directly with an iPhone user’s address book and automatically directs international calls via the least expensive method available.
