Firefox 3 gets an update

Users of the Firefox 3 browser are being advised by Mozilla to download and install the latest update for increased stability and security.

The update also contains a fix that will solve an issue which prevented some users from accessing AOL’s webmail and instant messaging services, AIM, embedded images, and other issues that affected the user’s internet use.

It is strongly recommended that all Firefox users install these upgrades as soon as they are able in order to prevent any problems.

Users of Firefox 3 will receive the updates automatically within the next couple of days or so.

Users who cannot wait until then will be able to manually download the updates the “Help” drop down menu in Firefox then look for “Check for Updates” and follow the instructions.
