
It was not that long ago when the CEO of BSkyB, Tony Ball joked that the management of broadcasting rival ITV were not able to run a bath.
Now it seems that he is one of the front runners for the top job at ITV following the departure of Michael Grade last week.
If he did take the job, running ITV would be twice as hard as for anyone else, because of his comments a while back when he was in charge at BSkyB.
There are quite a few other equally qualified candidates, including Dawn Airey from Channel Five, Channel Four’s former head, Michael Jackson, and even the communications minister, Lord Carter, has had his name put into the hat of suitable candidates.
