The BBC has said that the Horne & Corden show that did not go down well with the critics is the most successful first comedy series on BBC Three, with average viewing figures of around 900,000 per episode.
BBC Three has been regarded as the BBC Youth digital channel, with a target audience of sixteen to thirty four year olds.
The show had an average audience share of 10.7% for its time slot.
However, despite the criticism the BBC has announced that it is in advanced talks with the production company Tiger Aspect to produce a second series, although there are also rumours that rival broadcaster ITV is looking to sign up the comedy duo.
The way that BBC Three has been changed is still up for debate, yet the audience figures speak for themselves.
