BT has launched a new product that could save businesses money and provide faster bandwith both upstream and downstream.
In fact the ISP has gone as far as to say that this new high speed Ethernet based broadband service could actually save UK businesses around sixty five per cent on the cost of connecting different offices together.
This technology is based on the BT 21CN platform and is part of the UK’s largest Ethernet footprint which comprises over six hundred connection points.
The sheer size of the network has enabled BT to bring the cost of accessing the service down to reasonable levels.
Customers are able to access the system through IP VPN, internet or new Ethernet connections.
As for connection speeds, the service offers a choice, starting at 2 Mb and rising to 1 Gb, although the customers are able to be flexible with their network in terms of speed, size and scale.
