Acer will ship Windows 7 during October

One of the top computer makers in the world, Acer, has announced that it could be shipping Windows 7 on a new range of notebooks due to be coming out in the later part of the year.

That is interesting enough, but not as interesting as the other announcement.

It seems that not only will Acer be bringing a new range of laptops, but these computers could be shipped with the new Windows 7 operating system.

This should come just before the mad Christmas rush, by the end of October, which is a good couple of months before the expected launch.

Even if the operating system has not been officially launched by the time that Acer’s computer is launched, the Vista operating system will be coming with the free upgrade to Windows 7 anyway.
