T Mobile could be at risk
by David Allen

There seems to be a bit of a rumour mill running on the future of the mobile broadband and voice service provider T Mobile.
It has been reported through certain parts of the media that the CEO of Deutsche Telekom, Timothrus Hoettges, said at a recent meeting that T Mobile UK would have to merge with another provider or risk going out of business.
However, what the CEO actually said is slightly different.
He mentioned that consolidation would be a good way of removing the excess from the market.
If T Mobile were to go out of business it could affect mobile broadband users on other networks too, as T Mobile provides services to other providers.
However, if T Mobile were to go up for sale then there could be plenty of takers, such as 3, Vodafone, Carphone Warehouse or even BSkyB.
