Timico offers 16 Mbps broadband

Despite concerns over the slow progress by BT on its 21CN network, Timico has just announced that it will be providing a full business broadband service offering connection speeds of up to 16 Mbps on its ADSL+2 network.

Although the Timico network is fully capable of offering a connection speed of up to 24 Mbps, the provider has decided to keep it at the up to 16 Mbps level in order to avoid misleading customers.

It makes a change for an ISP to be honest when it comes to speed claims, although these days they cannot afford to slip up as customers are much more alert to the claims that providers make about their services.

As this is a business package, customers will get a domain name, spam & virus filtering, email storage, web hosting and a static IP address.
