Telmap appoints marketing officer to rethink company strategy

Mobile navigation firm Telmap today announced that it has appointed Motti Kushnir as chief marketing officer.

Kushnir will take responsibility for Telmap’s product and marketing strategy, with a particular focus on growing Telmap’s platform and the services it offers.

He will be asked to pioneer the growth of Telmap’s platform beyond navigation to support additional services, including advertising.

Kushnir joins Telmap from Amdocs, where he served as vice president and general manager of the company’s Search and Digital Advertising (SDA) unit.

Formerly he worked a Comverse as director of business development in the value added services department.

“Motti brings with him a proven track record of developing, implementing and managing effective product and marketing strategies in telecommunications, mobile advertising and location based services,” Telmap said in a statement.
