Mobile broadband is set to keep growing amongst business users, in fact according to research from Juniper Research mobile broadband connections could reach 722 million within the next five years.
Juniper Research has found that the number of business users around the globe is set to rise by around sixty per cent by 2014, with most of those connections using the 3.5G or the 3.9G networks.
This is good news for the makers of mini laptops and the providers of mobile broadband dongles.
Currently, in the UK, most mobile broadband providers are attempting to upgrade their networks to make the service more available and to increase the connection speeds.
There could be a time where mobile broadband is comparable to fixed line broadband, especially if the Digital Britain plan fails to reach all of its targets.
