Watching TV while driving has to be completely dangerous, but it could soon become possible when Navman launches its latest range of satellite navigation systems.
The Navman Spirit TV comes with a Freeview tuner that will allow in-car viewing when the user doesn’t need to use it for directions.
The firm claims that this device is the first of its kind in the world to provide built in TV, but this will depend on being able to pick up a decent Freeview signal, and there are areas where no signal is available.
The Spirit TV will be launched in the summer.
Two versions will be available, the 4.7 inch and a huge seven inch model, with prices estimated to be around the £200 to £300 mark.
