
As from next month Virgin Media will be launching its Virgin 1 entertainment channel’s new brand identity.
On the 9th June Virgin1 will be getting a new logo, some brand new channel indents and to complete the scheme, a better online experience for viewers who like to catch up with the channel’s news online.
The rebranding is not going to happen overnight as this is a going to be a year long project, which is expected to reinvigorate the whole channel.
Currently, due to the channel obtaining some popular content such as Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and The Unit, it is experiencing an audience share increase of around eighteen per cent on the year.
The rebrand coincides with the channel’s launch of a twenty four hour service on Freeview.
