BBC3 makes bedroom comedy

The BBC is commissioning a pilot programme that will be filmed entirely in a couple’s bedroom.

The show will go under the name of “Young, Unemployed and Lazy” and will be written by Stefan Golaszewski who also wrote “Cowards”.

The show will feature Being Human actor Russell Tovey, Sarah Solemani, who also starred in Mrs Henderson presents, and Kerry Howard, with the one off pilot show being produced by Big Talk Productions who were also behind the films “Shaun of the Dead” and “Hot Fuzz”.

This is story of a working class type couple, in their mid twenty’s, who are looked at or effectively watched by the audience.

The show, if successful, could become the next big thing on the channel directed at the younger viewer, BBC3.
