TrendMicro launches Worry-Free 6.0

Internet security provider TrendMicro yesterday unveiled version 6.0 of its Worry-Free Business Security package.

Designed for small businesses with little or no IT support, Worry-Free requires zero administration, and blocks viruses, spam, spyware and web threats before they enter the business network.

New features in the latest version include URL filtering, Smart Scan protection, and Smart Feedback.

URL filtering enables businesses to maintain productivity by blocking inappropriate, risky, or non-business related websites.

Smart Scan provides more effective protection than standard antivirus products with faster updates and quicker scans to detect the latest threats, whilst having a minimal performance impact on the computer protected.

Smart Feedback automatically feeds back security related issues to Trend Micro, ensuring that security threats are analysed as quickly as possible, and allowing for rapid updates based on immediate security threats.

Version 6.0 also protects PCs and servers from infected USB devices, and comes with an Enhanced Security Dashboard providing users with at-a-glance updates on their security status.
