Windows 7 Beta to begin shut down

by David Allen

The software producer Microsoft is getting ready to end the beta test of its latest operating system with the introduction of the infamous two hour shutdown mode for the Windows 7 Plus: Beta 1 install.

This will means that, as from the 1st of June, all users of the Windows 7 beta will begin to experience the pleasure of having to re-start their computer every two hours, but that is not the bad news, for once the clock starts ticking, it is the countdown to death.

If having to experience the two hour shut down mode is not bad enough, the Windows 7 Beta 1 will expire on the 1st August.

This is a major issue for users, who will have to either install a new operating system or download the Windows 7 Release Candidate, which will take the user to the 1st March 2010.
