Broadband provider Sky has decided to unbundle its phone and broadband services from BT, to give it complete control over its broadband network.
This is a major landmark for the internet service provider as this will be the end of the relationship with BT from whom the current broadband & phone service is rented, and it gives Sky full responsibility for its services.
For Sky’s customers this could mean a better service with new features and technology in the future, along with a better value for money service.
By unbundling its broadband and phone service from BT, Sky will have complete end to end control of the Sky broadband network.
There will not be any disruption to services at all for Sky’s customers, as the work is done automatically.
