Virgin 1 gets rebrand

Despite being up for sale Virgin 1 is continuing with a channel rebrand, and has recruited the creators of “Monkey”, who appears in the adverts for Digital TV and PG Tips, to introduce a new character to become the Virgin 1 mascot.

The new character will be very similar as “Monkey” as it will be knitted, although it will be red in colour to go in with the Virgin 1 colour code.

There have already been fifteen promotional indents made and these are ready to go, although there are plans to take this to twenty five over the following months.

The mascot will be making its first appearance next Tuesday the 9th June.

The channel will also be getting a new logo to represent its strong presence since building up its portfolio.
