A series of over two-minute training videos has been launched online to teach business users the basics of VoIP.

The videos, released by VoIP provider IP5280 Communications, aim to make installing and using VoIP simple and easy to learn for new business users.

Lessons include the basics of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), the functions and features of high-definition phones, and using VoIP on a computer interface.

IP5280 said they created the video learning centre due to an “explosion” in the number of businesses choosing VoIP for voice communications.

“We considered it imperative to create a self-instruction utility that can be easily accessed by any new user or IT professional who wants to learn how to install and use their new IP services,” said John Scarborough, co-founder and managing partner of IP5820.

“We’ll continue to develop new videos to the IP5280 VLC platform as requirements are identified.”
